DLC Distributors Inc. was incorporated in 1992 by Gary Prodanuk as a supplier of 12 volt electronics, installation parts and accessories located in Surrey, British Columbia. DLC Distributors began servicing its small but loyal customer base in a 1500 square foot facility with products from the extensive catalogue of line items from The David Levy Company of Cerritos, California. Through a Canadian distributorship handshake agreement with David Levy himself, and starting with only 3 employees as a true “family business”, DLC Distributors continued to experience growth through the mid 1990s necessitating a move to a larger 3000 square foot facility in 1996. As the customer base, employees and product lines continued to increase over the years DLC Distributors undertook the design and construction of their current 11,000+ square foot facility which they occupied in March of 2005.
Today DLC Distributors, with the values of a family business still an integral part of their operating philosophy, employs12 people at its head office in Surrey, BC as well as 7 sales representatives across Canada. DLC Distributors currently services over 800 customers with over 6,000 line items from 25 different manufacturers. Experiencing positive growth every year of its existence, DLC Distributors has continued its commitment to the 12 volt industry while branching off into the emerging home theatre market, making it truly the one stop shop for electronics retailers across Canada. We are proud to carry a wide array of products from top manufacturers such as 3M, Klein Tools, Black Widow vehicle security systems, Escort radar detectors, Metra Electronics, Varad Vision accent lighting, Cerwin Vega mobile audio, Draper projector screens, Premier panel mounts, Illuminaire home theatre lighting, Lift-It motorized panel lifts, Swann security cameras, Buffalo Electronics, Unicom electronic distribution products, Cool-Components fans and accessories to name only a few.
